Moss from scratch. (Note, these are hand-authored texture-sets applied to primitives in marmoset, not highpoly renders)
While I often use substance designer, this seemed like a good opportunity to use NanoMesh in Zbrush, along with Joseph Drust's (https://piggyson.artstation.com) NanoTileTextureTool plugin for tiling.
I created a handful of small moss parts and polypainted them, then arranged them. This was the majority of the base for my tiling texture-set. Minimal color correction and variance in substance designer. Presented in Marmoset 3.
